Temporary Shelter Camp Construction Project for the Israeli Military

In 2023, Cocohut supported a temporary shelter camp construction project in the Middle East, providing 126 modular building units for urgent accommodation and logistical support needs.

 

The project required a large number of buildings to be produced, transported, and installed within a short period of time. Cocohut completed production within 2 days, and the full on-site installation was completed within 15 days, helping the customer achieve fast camp deployment under a tight schedule.

The main comprehensive building adopted a frame structure system. The exterior walls were combined with stone mesh and natural gravel, creating a protective outer layer that fits well with dry climates, strong sunlight, and sandy environments. This design also improved the building's insulation and protection performance. Multiple split air conditioners were installed to help maintain a comfortable indoor environment despite large temperature differences between day and night.

To support use in remote areas with limited infrastructure, the roof was equipped with solar photovoltaic panels for off-grid power supply. This allowed the camp to maintain independent operation capability when access to stable grid electricity was limited.
